I have news about Konomi-sensei's continuation of our story. In case you hadn't heard, the 379 previous chapters were the prequel to the real story. Yeah, yeah. I know! I think it's crazy, too. ^_^

I bet we girls don't get any appearances at all, darn it.

JUMP Festa Report:

- New Dream Team uniform designs (The color scheme is red/white/black, the inside jersey is different than the jacket. The outside jacket is heavy on the white, while the inside shirt is heavy on the red)
- The story will begin with a gathering of the best 100+ junior tennis players in Japan, who will be whittled down to a team of 50 for the Senbatsu tournaments (the "Dream Team" that Konomi-sensei mentioned at Hyouteimyu senshuuraku last month)
- The title will be "Shin Tennis no Oujisama"
- It will begin to be published in March 2009 in Jump SQ magazine, which is released monthly.

In other news, Papa took Onii-chan and me out for lunch today and sprang the big one. The company's offered him a huge promotion. Catch? It's in Singapore. Long story short. He said yes. Him and Mama leave this weekend.

Looks like another Christmas with no family in town. Thanks, Family. I really appreciate that. Last year, I spent Christmas with Kamio-kun and his family. Hah. Ginny, I'm working double shifts. I'll try to stay out of your way. Sorry.

Do not get me any of these. Ever. Well, okay, I might laugh at the wind-up racing grannies.

I took pity on Akaya the other night and switched shifts so I wouldn't be working while he went on his not-date with Shitake-kun. Ginny and I were at loose ends, so we dragged Akiya-kun to see Four Christmases with us. Ugh. We sat him in the middle so he couldn't escape. Ginny teared up--don't ask me why (must be pregnancy hormones)--which made the entire ~~torture~~ experience that much more ~~fun~~ painful. Not sure he'll ever watch a movie with us again even if I did spring for a huge tub of popcorn, large Dr. Pepper and the big box of Red Hots.

kljsdakljfsdkljdsf I got Christmas cards from people I never expected! You guys are silly. ^_^

Stuff kind of sucks right now. I need to get out and do something fun. Anyone up for the arcade?

Yeah, so Yukimura-san wiped the court with me. So what? Like to see one of you play him. He was all gentleman-like and sat on the bench while I sprawled on the clay and tried to remember how to breathe. Even brought me water after I puked. And~ sprang for ice cream after even though I lost and I was supposed to be the one to pay. Great game. *__*

Akira's folks took away his net access again. He's been working hard in cram school and tennis and hanging out with Shinji-kun and stuff. Kinda sucks since we wound up in different classes this year and we haven't spent time together in ages. Stupid real life.

Aaaaanyway, been watching my bruises change color. I'm waiting for that green to yellow to sort of brown stage 'cause it's the most fun. The bruises on my stomach hurt the worst. Kinda walking around like a little old lady at the moment. None of you jerks better try to help me cross the street. :P

So, I forgot all about Bonfire Night, which is a bummer since I wanted to have another bonfire like I did last year.

My Halloween candy keeps disappearing. Akaya's swiping it and leaving more and more black licorice. And he won't share any of his. That's just mean. ;__;

I got to talk a little to Ginny's older brother, Bill--the leather one, not the dragon one--and he's every bit as cool as she said. He says he wants to watch The Mummy with me. I hope it's not to see Arnold Vosloo. That'd just be weird 'cause he's married and everything.

Ugh. My school is already talking about the school festival. I'm lying low in case I get rooked into helping plan our class participation.

Finally figured out what I'm going to be for Halloween, but I'd really, really, really like to have a real snake be part of my costume 'cause that would just be sooooo cool. I promise to take good care of it!

That would be Kyouya, of course, trying to pull a Mr. Bojangles and tapping his way up the stairs. I was nice and didn't draw him after he missed and landed in a heap. Hmmm, I think I deserve ice cream for that.

I'm staying at Ginny's for the moment. It'll be fun to have some girl talk.

Yesterday, Akira picked me up and took me out for our one year anniversary plus a week or two. We went inline skating and had a picnic--he cooked for me--and fed the ducks and people watched and talked and cuddled and danced and, well, it I got stupidly mushy. So what?
